A Fork in the Road

This time in my life makes me think of that scene in the Muppet Movie where Fozzie Bear and Kermit the Frog drive past a literal giant fork sculpture on the size of the road.

The TL;DR of this post is that I just graduated from college and I now have to decide whether to stay working part-time at a job I really like and try to freelance as an artist and marketer on the side to pay the bills OR get a big-girl, full-time job and set my art aside in order to prioritize future planning. I want to take a swing at being a part-time artist, but I need support from the people who believe in me to do it. For only $1, $5, or $10/month, you can become a Patron of mine and support my journey into hopefully becoming a full-time artist one day.

My new Patreon can be found here: https://www.patreon.com/ubdraws

The art I want to create is mainly special effects makeup, but ranges from costuming to digital art and beyond. I'm even collaborating with Kelly on UB Draws, a new YouTube art adventure! I have a lot of great things in the works and it would be a dream come true if those things could come to life and I could pay my bills at the same time.

If you do decide to become a Patron, you should know that each dollar amount comes with a specific set of perks as well- consider them "thank you"s for the support you're giving.

I'm not asking for handouts. On the contrary, I'm offering a service and asking to be compensated for it. I hope you can find it in your heart to skip eating out or grabbing a soda on-the-whim once per month to help fund my artistic journey!

I want to say that I truly appreciate the support I've received from friends and family all over the globe, including comments, likes, shares, and even a couple who bought my t-shirts back when that was still a thing I was trying to do. It's your encouragement that has given me the confidence to put myself out there and give this art thing a shot.

If you can't support me monetarily, I totally understand. I'd really appreciate it if you showed my work a little love on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and/or YouTube, though! Every comment, share, like, and follow MATTERS! Your interaction with my work makes me really happy, too!

Thank you for taking the time to see what I have to offer and I hope to talk to you soon in the comments, on social media, and anywhere else our paths may cross!
